I founded Gosho Financial Group after working as a stockbroker and financial planner at Paine Webber and Piper Jaffray for over 20 years. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^™ (CFP^®), I’ve had the privilege of helping many clients manage their 401(k)s, stock and bond portfolios, plan for retirement, and prepare for eldercare expenses, and move to senior living residences. We survived all the major stock market meltdowns and financial system blowups since 1978.

My expertise in the field has led to opportunities as a public speaker, and I’ve appeared on ABC television’s “Marketplace – Women on Business” and CBS Marketwatch.com, among others.

At Gosho Financial Group, we approach our work from a deeply personal place. My dedication to helping clients navigate eldercare challenges stems from my own experience caring for my mother, who had advancing dementia. Additionally, my 20-year tenure on the board of NAMI San Mateo County and my role as co-founder of NAMI Walk S.F. Bay Area – the largest Northern California walk for mental illness treatment – has given me insight into the lifelong psychological, emotional, and financial burdens families face when caring for a loved one with serious mental illness.
